PS: Just offer the Whills from time to time a good coffee sacrifice. Other than that you're always fine. I'm offended that you think we'd be bought off so easily...wait...what kinda coffee we talkin' here?

More energy resistant metals/alloys are definitely welcome if they are found to exist in SW canon.
Void stone seems to just interfere with one's connection to the Force, similar to Ysalamir. Baradium-357 is an explosive, so it is not relevant to this rule. Dovin basals are Yuuzhan Vong tech, so they are covered under the already existing rules regarding YV tech (and potentially Superweapons, given how powerful they can be).
Hijarna stone may be relevant, given it's noted resistance to turbolaser fire, but it is only noted as existing in two locations: the Fortress of Hijarna and the Hand of Thrawn. No mention of how it is made or where it is acquired is mentioned. Because of this I would categorize it more closely to a canon artifact, but I will bring this material up to the rest of the Council.

Energy Resistant Metals/Minerals Changes Greetings and Salutations, JvS Members! The Whill Council is unveiling a change to the rules regarding rare energy resistant metals and minerals. There has been some confusion in the past regarding ways to properly attain these resources for use in Open RP, so we have revised the rules to allow for fun Roleplay while preventing future misunderstandings. Overall the changes are minimal, but we decided to make them to avoid any potential problems going into the future. You can view the newly created rules thread here. The biggest change is a list of the materials in question, with a sub-list of the locations each resource can be found that exist on JvS. However, this does not mean that other locations do not exist or that the list of locations will not be expanded in the future. More may be added in the future as Star Wars canon changes, if locations that exist on JvS that are known to have said resources were missed, or upon request by the membership of JvS (with the final approval of the Whill Council). Please take the time to look over these changes, give feedback and feel free to ask us questions you may have. Thank You, The Whill Council

Regarding Energy Resistant Metals/AlloysRare and powerful materials (i.e. beskar, cortosis, etc.), due to their rarity and power, require good judgment on the part of the writer. Ideally, there should be an in-universe story or RP that can be linked back to as proof of obtaining the item, to prevent abuse. In the case of Player Characters (PCs) and certain named Non-Player Characters (NPCs), if it is reasonable that said character would have access to these rare metals (such as a Mandalorian with Beskar'gam or a PC having one or two small items of a rare material), this is understandable and some leeway is given. However, while this leniency is allowed in the case of individual characters and Named NPCs, the abuse of the suspension of disbelief to equip whole fighting forces or to build fleets of ships made of these materials will not be tolerated in Open RP. If someone is reported as being suspected to be abusing the leniency of this rule, the Whills shall determine the course of action and make a ruling on the item(s). When it comes to RP about acquiring said materials, below is a list of the restricted materials and planetary locations where they can be found in the JvS Universe. While it is encouraged to write obtaining these restricted materials on the locations listed, members may also use the Journal of the Whills or Open Space threads as a substitute. Any location written in the JotW or Open Space threads must be a location that exists in Star Wars canon and is noted as having any of the listed materials below. In the case of beskar, it should only be acquired from Mandalore or Concordia, as well as requiring a legitimate Mandalorian Smith with the knowledge to work it. Mandalore and Concordia are the only locations on JvS that have beskar. Regarding Monopolizing and/or Hoarding Rare MaterialsWhen a planet that is designated as being rich in a rare metals/materials is under the influence of a character or faction, this does not mean that they can stop others from gaining access to the materials in question, at least not completely. There always should and will be ways of subverting their control of a resource whether it be by smuggling, stealth mining, piracy, blackmail, or bribing officials In-Character. The aforementioned options are not the only ways of getting around any closed-market practices, being only a few examples. Characters can use any means they think will be successful in attempting to bypass planetary governments' control on materials. Remember: JvS is a cooperative roleplay website; so it may help to message whomever has influence over the location to which you want to gain access. Getting Out of Character approval, though not needed, may also help things go much more smoothly. You may even get involvement or interaction from member(s) whose characters have influence over or who are currently writing where the resource is located, potentially leading to a more interesting story.

RoonRoon was a planet located in the nearly impenetrable Cloak of the Sith. Known for its Roonstones, the planet was constantly sought after by treasure hunters for years.
Located in an impenetrable cosmic dust cloud ominously referred to as the Cloak of the Sith, easily navigable routes to Roon had long been lost. Even the most complete accounts, located in the Baobab Archives on Manda, were sketchy at best, and the lockdown of information following the rise of the Galactic Empire seemed to seal Roon's fate as a planet lost to history. This was fine to native Roonians; the planet was largely self-sufficient and plentiful in resources.
Surrounded by a lethal ring of asteroids and meteors, Roon was located in an Outer Rim Territories system of the same name. Other notable planets in the Roon system included the searing rock planet of Kaloo (which was moonless) and the barren rock world Iqoon (which had two moons).
Like nearby Ryloth, Roon only rotated on its axis once every orbit around the sun, rendering one side constantly bright and the other side constantly dark. Unlike Ryloth, however, the lit side of the world was not scorching, nor was the dark side frigid; this phenomenon may be due to cloud cover, or an extensive ozone layer. Whatever the reason, Roon long served as a staging point for spice smugglers coming from Ryloth.Current Ruling Faction:Greater Roon Remnant/ Sith EternalAstrographical Information:Region: Outer Rim Territories Sector: Abrion Sector System: Roon Sun(s): 1 (Roon) Moon(s): 1 Grid Coordinates: S-15 Physical Information:Class: Terrestrial Diameter: 6,093 km Climate: Temperate Primary Terrain: Plains, frozen mountains, mudfields, and oceans Points of Interest: Roon LocationsNative Flora: Creatures of RoonSocietal Information:Native Species: Humans, Twi'lek, Duros, Sullustans, and Koboks Primary Language(s): Galactic Basic Standard and Durese Population: 665,000 Major Cities: Nime and Nunurra Major Imports: Technology Major Exports: Flame jewels, Spice, and Roonstones Sith Eternal InformationIC sympathies tend towards:- Sith

Dazbog sat behind the counter of his coffeeshop, leaning back in a chair, balancing precariously on its two rear legs as he curled some of his beard hair with a finger on one hand and held a cup of coffee with the other. Clearing his throat before the Coffee Whill turned the page of a book in his lap with the Force, which was absolutely not an abuse of the universe-binding energy field in the slightest and s completely appropriate use of his abilities, before taking a sip from his mug. Dazbog's brow furrowed deeply and he tilted the cup over, but nothing poured out. With a slight huff he set the mug and the book on the counter. Dazbog's eyes widened as the shift in his weight on the rear legs of his chair caused him to fall backward, and the Whill impacted on the tile floor of his shop with a solid thud, leaving a nice Dazbog-shaped crater despite the relatively short height of his fall. The Coffee Whill lay there, staring at the ceiling of his shop, his face expressionless; his normally vibrant eyes dull and empty. A̵̡̺͇͎̘̝͍̻͐͑͊̌̾̍̕͝͠ģ̷͓̦̱̮͕̻͜͠a̴̡̤̟͈̱͍̺̓́i̴̮̥͕̱͋̉͌̇͘ņ̸̱̜̤̥̦̿̉̀́̀̑̂̏͘

Clearing his throat before the Coffee Whill turned the page of a book in his lap with the Force, which was absolutely not an abuse of the universe-binding energy field in the slightest and a completely appropriate use of his abilities, then leaned forward to safely set all four legs of the chair flat on the floor. Dazbog sat his book on the counter and stood up, walking over to his drip coffee machine. He gripped the handle of the coffee pot and pulled it out, a few drops falling from the pause and serve nozzle, hitting the warming plate and sizzling, the aroma drifting up to his nostrils. Looking at the pot, there was less than a sip's amount of precious coffee remaining inside. The Coffee Whill stood there, staring at the empty pot, his face expressionless; his normally vibrant eyes dull and empty.

The Coffee Whill swirled the full pot of coffee around, inhaling deeply the scent of the fine blend he had prepared earlier, filling his mug nearly to the brim. With a self-satisfied and content smile on his face, Dazbog returned the pot to the drip machine and turned around to retrieve his book and resume his reading. The book sat on the counter, closed; his bookmark lay next to it. The Coffee Whill stood there, mug in hand, his face expressionless; his normally vibrant eyes dull and empty.

His hand hit the side of the cup, causing it to topple over, spilling the precious contents within it over the countertop and onto the floor in front of the counter. Given that the thread is now active, we are less inclined to archive it if so long as there is meaningful RP taking place in the thread. This is a broad generalization, and can be interpreted many ways from differing opinions, but plainly speaking the Council tries not to archive threads with an active presence within them unless we deem it fit.
I will leave this thread open for a short period of time (let's say two weeks or so), but more as a way for it to be communicated to the Whills that the matter has been settled between the involved parties (or not) and that no further actions are being pursued that require the Whill Council.

I moved this to a new thread so as not to clutter the Archive request thread with this conversation, and to more easily catalogue it in our archives once the issue has been settled.
As the thread requested has now become active, I would assume that this request is no longer needed. I just wished to make sure before closing the matter.

Hapes Hapes was the homeworld of the Hapans, a near-Human race known for their beauty, and the administrative capital of the Hapes Consortium. Surrounded by shimmering nebulae, and with seven moons in the sky after sunset, Hapes never knew the darkness of true night, and the Hapan people had relatively poor night-vision.
Only a few small, neat cities were necessary to cater for the needs of the state bureaucracy and the Consortium's commercial and legal institutions, and much of the planet was an unspoiled wilderness of broad oceans, snow-peaked mountains and lush primeval forest, where tightly-controlled commercial fisheries and game-preserves were the major focus of Hapan activity.
Located near the center of the Hapes Cluster, Hapes was one of only two planets in the Hapes system, along with Kavan. Due to the light reflected off of the seven moons surrounding Hapes and the shimmering nebulae of the Transitory Mists, the inhabitants of Hapes never knew true night.
The surface was marked by large oceans, forests, and mountains. Much of the surface was untouched due to the Hapan love of beauty, with Hapans preferring to stay in cities such as Ta'a Chume'Dan, the capital city of Hapes.

OsarianOsarian was a planet in the Expansion Region, near the Corellian Run. It was in the same system as Rhommamool, an inhospitable desert world. The two planets orbited each other that brought them within a million kilometers of each other every ten years, usually resulting in a flare-up of hostilities between the two. The worlds would remain in missile-strike range for months.
Osarian was dotted by crystal-clear lakes which were rimmed by white sandy beaches. The Osarians were wealthy and also ruled neighboring Rhommamool. Life on neighboring Rhommammol was tough compared to Osarian with even basic essentials like water lacking. Osarian had a small space fleet, but its technology was mainly limited to the ground.Current Ruling Faction:Corellian Coalition, Merthian Commonwealth Astrographical Information:Region: Expansion Region Sector: Merthian sector System: Osarian system Grid Coordinates: N-13 Trade Routes: Corellian Run Physical Information:Class: Terrestrial Primary Terrain: Lakes, Beaches Societal Information:Demonym: Osarian Major Cities: Osa-PrimeMajor Imports: Foodstuffs, Consumer Goods, and Machine Parts Major Exports: Starships and Technology Corellian Coalition Information:IC Sympathies tend towards:- Corellian Coalition Members/Allies

The rogue Imperial known as Warlord Kazdan Tai made Osarian his base of operation, opressing the people of Osarian. - When the Corellian Coalition arrived to the Osarian System, Coalition forces engaged with those of Warlord Kazdan. A brief naval battle was followed by the deployment of Coalition forces on the ground and the eventual liberation of Osa-Prime. - Following the defeat of Kazdan, a new government was formed known as the Merthian Commonwealth. The Fortress of Manaan serves as a monument to Sith supremacy. But also it is a tribute to the will of this great planets departed patriarch, Lord Mortus. Apart from the Royal Guards & a massive military presence, Dún na Manaan is a place of learning and meditation free of outside interference. Once home to the Óglaigh na Iarndóideanna – Warriors of the Iron Fists - this fortress serves as a historical landmark and home to those who came before.

Apologies for the delay, Nexus.
After some deliberation we have decided to fulfill your request, partially. Instead of giving you an entire faction HQ level sub-board to yourself, we will create a single thread that will stand for the whole of the old Iron Fist fort.
As the name is already determined, we just need a location description for the new thread and then we can whip it up for you. I'll let you determine what that should be, and post it here. So long as everything checks out we can have the thread up as soon as we have a suitable description post.

After much thought and consideration, the Whill Council has decided to retire the Simplified version of the Personal Fleet system that was created for use to create Personal Fleets. If you are or were using a Personal Fleet using the Simplified system, you may continue to do so. The Simplified version was built so that the two systems were in line with one another, so any fleets created using it are still within existing limitations. We are making this announcement to our members so that anyone using a fleet created using the now-retired Simplified Fleet system is made aware of this change, and that they may have more Personal Fleet points at their disposal. The current regulations for Personal Fleets can be found here, and we encourage everyone to always stay up to date with the rules and guidelines of the site. Thank you, The Council of the Whills
