Is there any way the Naboo would learn of that execution?

I don't care how you explain it IC.
I want to know why there was no discussion here (OOC) about it so that people who may have other plans or ideas could weigh in on it. At least as a courtesy, even if you didn't wait for a response.
I also would have expected, as one of the writers personally attacked, you would at least give me a heads up via PM or whatever.

While you are technically correct, as Naboo never officially joined the GA, everyone has been assuming for months that Naboo is a part of the GA, and I have been happy to roll with that because the only reason we didn't join was that I was not around. If the Galactic Alliance wants to change that status now and pretend that the attack on Naboo is not their problem, then that's just sad. But I don't think anyone is saying that.

The government of Naboo could be rather easily persuaded to secretly support you.

Why would the Naboo agree to a peace treaty? Especially one negotiated behind our backs?

Naboo will not be signing any peace treaty.
OOC, this is exactly the kind of RP hook I needed. IC, we're furious and plan to make the First Order either disown Yularen, or hold them responsible for his actions.

RNSF Shield Control Station
=Alyse= As the returning Naboo security forces and shield controllers moved about the room, resuming their duty stations, Alyse's eyes never moved from the intruder. He was a skilled slicer, and he was helping. The two security troopers she had brought with her had been joined by six others, as well as the three shield controllers, who formed a tight, tense ring around the stranger. No one moved to stop him, but it would have been clear from their body language that none trusted him.
Except the politician. Ignoring everything else, her focus was on the viewport screens and the security feeds as the gas was dispersed harmlessly above the city. When the stranger raised his hands in surrender, two of the troopers quickly grabbed for his wrists, and one of them produced a pair of stuncuffs, but Alyse took a step forward and held out her hand.
"No." She said. "Escort him out of here, and let him go."
The troopers looked surprised, but they nodded in agreement.
Alyse extended her right hand to the stranger. "I don't know who you are or where you came from, but the Naboo thank you for your assistance."

As the hologram flare to life, another violent explosion rocked the ship, throwing Deechi to the ground. Knowing that the deflector shields were going to give out at any moment now, he quickly stood up and addressed Admiral Korr.“Admiral Korr! This is Mee Deechi of the Galactic Alliance. We’ve got a massive First Order fleet closing on us, and we need reinforcements desperately. Send any and all ships you have available to Naboo. We won’t be able to hold out for long.” =Admiral Korr=I have just received an all-clear signal from Naboo, can you confirm, or do you still require assistance? I have a fleet en route, but I will recall them if they are no longer needed.

Royal Palace, Incident Command Center
Located over one hundred meters below the surface of the city of Theed, the Incident Command Center was where the Queen, Royal advisors, and top military brass gathered during a planetary emergency such as this one. Given the devastation above ground, it had taken a while to re-establish communications with the surface, and it was a tense thirty minutes before the all-clear found it's way down to the bunker. While the dioxis gas was a concern (and led the Royal Guards to double-check the ventilation system), it was a relief to know that the Imperials had departed the system.
And so it was that the first official outbound communications from the government would end up being an all-clear signal. How ironic.

As they reverted to realspeed, Captain Typho reviewed his targeting board, then ground his teeth. The attacking Imperial fleet, with incredible skill and precision, had seized on a window of mere seconds to flee the system. The gravity well projectors were now ready, but he didn't have any definitive targets. The techs were left casting fields in random directions in hopes of snagging an Imperial or two by sheer luck, or the blessing of the Force. But after five minutes passed, and then ten, it was clear that the Imperials were gone. Typho shook his head, and silently resolved to upgrade the gravity well readiness training program. His men had been too slow, due to a lack of recent real world experience.
Still unaware of the Guardian-class cruiser due to it's position on the far side of Naboo's moon Veruna from the Interdictor's current position, the Naboo Royal Navy turned it's attention to a casualty assessment and rescue operation. There were hundreds of injured men aboard the Padme Amidala, and dozens more aboard the two badly damaged corvettes, which had now drawn near to the Golan and were evacuating their wounded to the larger station for treatment.
Immobilizer 481 Padme Amidala, Bridge
=Cmdr. Biggs= A middle-aged officer tapped Typho on the shoulder, then saluted. "Sir, I have the initial damage assessment: Medical reports 2,726 crew members have been accounted for and 81 missing. Among the known casualties, 57 dead and 471 injured." He paused, his face ashen.
"Two shields generators were destroyed, and seven compartments on the port side vented into space. Five of the forward laser cannons are down, and the shielding on the starboard rear gravity well projector is cracked. The engines suffered significant damage to their control systems, and the hyperdrive was overloaded by our microjump with grav wells active. While there is no loss of navigation, and hyperspeed is still possible, the techs estimate that flank speed has been lowered 20% and that it would be safer to use the backup hyperdrive until repairs are made."
He nodded toward the port side viewport. "The 'East' Golan reports that one corvette lost all shield capabilities, while the other has a 75% loss of power and 4 engines destroyed. Their medical staff has been too busy to provide us any firm numbers, but I would imagine we're looking at close to 50% casualties aboard the escorts."
"In addition, 4 N1-T starfighters were lost, and recovery is looking for the pilots now."
=Capt. Typho= The captain's face was grim as he contemplated the 200 or so families he would be visiting in the coming days. "Very well, thank you Commander. See to it that medical evacuations to the surface are given top priority at whatever remains of Theed Spaceport."
It had been messy, but far shorter than he had initially feared, and at least their enemy was gone -- for now.

Certainly no animosity here, at least on the OOC level. I had a lot of fun. You may have forced the IC Naboo people out of their shell and into a more active, anti-Imperial posture. The only complaint I would have is that if I had been properly informed of the scope of the attack, and that I needed to participate, I would have been able to power up my gravity well generators sooner. There is actually one more move that I could make to keep some of you from leaving the system, but I won't make it. I'm ok with ending it now. There's another RP that I want to focus on. Do be sure to account for the damage to your forces, everyone. Give each other credit for the hard work we put into blasting each other.

*Shade barely registered the presence of the three security guards that broke into the shield monitoring room, at least physically. His eyes were focused on the dual screen display before him - one showing the technical readouts of the shield modulation frequency, the other a diagnostic program he had just written and now had running against the current shield calibration. Each time the the diagnostic finished it would blink red, bringing a groan of annoyance from shade as his fingers began flying over the keys once again, rewriting the shield calibration matrix over and over again looking for the proper mod frequency to satisfy the diagnostic. The sound of blaster packs charging was the only thing that brought him back to the room, and he barely heard the words being directed at him but he still managed to respond, though his voice was still obviously distracted by the code he continued to pound into the keys.*"You cannot possibly expect a man who covers his face to ever answer that question..."*Shade continued his code and ran the diagnostic again, once again coming up negative. He cursed under his breath still not turning towards the three guards or reaching for his weapons - the blaster pistols once again in the holsters on each hip and his sniper rifle slung across his shoulder. He was garbed in a slim stealth suit, minimal armoring across his vital areas such as his torso and his neck and head. a shield upon his shoulder carried markings but they were to faded to be recognized, and the stealth suit head piece obscured his face and the visor covering his eyes was a bright green. Diagnostic - negative - annoyed groan.*"As for what I am doing - i dont know if you were aware, but the retreating imperial forces are dropping canisters of Dioxis along their path. If even one of those cans bursts - with current wind conditions - hundreds could die."*Diagnostic - negative - annoyed groan - faster typing*"Citizens are still being evacuated to the shelters and the shield protects the city - I am attempting to find a modulation frequency that will distort the molecules of the energy shield to a point where it would not only disperse energy blasts but also keep the gas out as well... The modulation is possible... but your shielding is not equipped for it, so I have to write the code for your shield generators to modulate the proper energy fluctuation. If you believe you can do better i'll stand aside... otherwise kindly shut up and wait."*Diagnostic - negative - annoyed groan - faster typing.* =Alyse Naberrie=The woman watched the masked intruder closely. She wasn't tech savvy enough to understand what he was doing, but she did understand the results. More guards and shield controller techs began returning to their posts as the evacuation crisis out in the city came to a close, but they all gave Shade a wide berth. Several more troopers made moves as if to surround him, but thet lowered their weapons as the masked man explained the situation. So far he seemed to be a friend, and not a threat."Fair enough." She lowered the gun and took a couple steps forward to get a better look at the diagnostics. "Please continue." While she was not a member of the security team, he had no way to know that, and as a high ranking government official, she had equivalent authority in an emergency like this.=Communications Tech=A few moments paused, then a young, nervous young man stoop up from his console and walked over to the politician to whisper an update. "Ma'am, we have teams sweeping the city for the canisters now, and with most of the population in shelters or evacuated down-river, we analyze the risk as low, but all of the canisters have just been triggered. The computer estimates dozens of casualties among the stragglers and the injured now lying beneath their bombed homes." =Alyse=She frowned, and pointed at Shade before responding in a low voice. "Then let's hope our masked friend here knows what he's doing." He pulled out a hologram and contacted the commander of the Naboo Defenders.Hello. I am commander of the Umbaran Militia. Sorry for our late arrival, it took a while to get across the galaxy. I would like to know the situation of what is going on in the ground area. *Additionally, another transmission to Theed's defense force came through from orbit.* "This is Commander Norr. Has the enemy retreated, or do you still require our aid planetside?" The ground command was getting back on it's feet now, and the same message was sent to each offer of assistance.=RNSF Emergency Dispatch=The Imperials are in retreat. We currently need assistance with search and rescue among the bomb wreckage, and with Dioxis gas disposal. Everything else is under control.

So, just for clarification/full disclosure. Because all of this started on Naboo and not Corellia, and I haven't been around for a while, I forgot that I had switched to writing all my military NPCs and fleets and stuff under my alt Sara Ruluwoor and not as Kel'Al. I switched because people kept calling my Republic fleet a Jedi fleet when it wasn't and trying to arrest non-existent Jedi and stuff -- all while Kel'Al was half a galaxy away. Neither character is a military commander, so I'd be writing the exact same thing, and still all NPCs, just under a different profile. The fleet listed on Dmitri's profile is the one I've been using for this conflict (I only have 1 fleet for Jedi and GA business). So if I bring in the other half of my fleet from Corellia, should I also write that under Kel'Al and not Dmitri, to keep things clear and aboveboard? This changes literally nothing IC, I just didn't want any OOC confusion.

[In space, escorting the Padme Amidala.] The situation was getting too hot for the escorts now, with only a single Immobilizer to protect them against a much larger force. If they had closed ranks with the Galactic Alliance forces, they would have been better off, but there hadn't been time for that, and now it was too late. Seeing the impending collision between the Padme Amidala and the Centurion, the remaining eight N1 starfighters decided it was time to clear the area, and retreated to the hangars aboard the Golan-III. The sudden fusillades against the tiny corvettes, while hitting a target of their size from near a maximum firing distance, was not terrible accurate, but it was effective enough. One corvette lost it's primary shields and a large chunk of it's hull, and fled the battle toward deep space, trailing smoke and escaped gases, while the other diverted all power from its weapons to it's shields and made for the cover of the West side Golan, on the opposite side of the planet and well away from the current battle lines. That left the Padme Amidala alone, which was probably for the best given the crazy plan her commander had been forced into executing.[Aboard the East-side Golan-III.] The Golan commander swore violently as his targets, which had all been green a moment later, suddenly disappeared. The microjump had broken the tractor beam locks, and by the time his techs reacquired them, they might be too late. And now the enemy Vic was accelerating straight toward the Golan, and the mass shadow of the planet would quickly pull it back out of hyperspace, even if the pilot didn't do so of his own free will. If it sliced through the Interdictor, or, somehow, missed it, there was a good chance the Golan would take it broadside.=Golan Commander="Prepare for impact! Evacuate all non-essential personnel to the interior compartments!" [Aboard the Padme Amidala.] “Captain Typho, we’ve been caught in a trap! If you have any available reinforcements, call on them immediately! We will try to take on this fleet, but I don’t hold out much hope. Keep your Interdictor protected! It is our only hope that we can keep the enemy here long enough for reinforcements to arrive.” =Capt. Typho=Affirmative Commander. I am about to be very busy cheating death, so I am opening a secured Galactic Alliance channel for you: A direct line to Admiral Jacen Korr on Corellia. Tell him what you need and he will send reinforcements. And with that, Typho turned his attention to staying alive. He could almost hear something venting from the deck below his feet, and with every blast and jolt, the ship creaked and groaned, and the shield projectors whined and coughed, which meant this mess needed to end, and soon.Aboard the Centurion, Lieutenant Commander Hanson Romm had taken command of the ship and was moving in to range. "The gravity well generators aren't active yet, sir!" Romm suddenly had an idea beckon. "Power up the hyper drive, we'll use it to slingshot into the Interdictor."The Centurion kept its shields high, feeling the weight of constant fire. As the Interdictor got closer to the Golan and began powering down its engines, the Centurion fired up the hyper drive, kept at the same level, with their nose pointed directly at the Interdictor, and activated the jump. The effect of this would be to literally accelerate to light speed for a short distance, before being jerked out by colliding with a ship before it could reach hyperspace proper. It would cover the distance and make the force hitting the Interdictor even greater. =Scanner Tech="Sir, that destroyer's hyperdrive getting ready to make a jump to lightspeed." A panicked voice reported from a starboard pit.=Typho="Then activate ours." Typho said. He had been quite pleased with the progress of the battle, but now things looked rather bad for his flagship. He was only going to get one shot at this. "Prepare to jump us ten ship lengths farther out from the planet, and to the port at a 60-degree up angle." The Imperials had fallen into his trap, just not the way he had planned, and his careful timing had to be abandoned. There was a lurch and a groan from the strained ship as the engines, already pointed upward, joined with the hyperdrive, and kicked the cruiser out of the immediate path of their ramming enemy. If they got away safely, they would now be almost directly above the Golan... but the timing would be a close shave. As the Centurion arrived, they would catch sight of the Padme Amidala rising out of their path, but if they arrived early enough, then the Immobilizer might still be lower enough to catch the uppermost part of the Victory-class.[At the V-180 Planetary Defender ion cannon.] The gunnery officer had lost his target lock as well, but the commander barked in his ear before he even had time to verbalize the loss. "Target the last known position of the Padme Amidala, that's where they'll be. As soon as they emerge, you'll have your lock." Mere seconds after the Centurion came out of hyperspeed, if their calculation was correct, the full force of the powerful Planetary Defender ion cannon would be fired upon the enemy destroyer. At worst, it would pose another distraction. At worse, it would temporarily disable enough systems to cause a total loss of navigation, preventing the Centurion from changing course. With the Padme Amidala gone, there would be nothing to stop the Centurion from a collision with the Golan, or so the defenders of Naboo hoped.

Sorry, I didn't have any more time tonight so that post in orbit is all you're getting from me tonight. If it's unclear or I missed anything important, let me know. Was in a hurry and didn't want to keep you all waiting. I'll get to the surface stuff tomorrow. That looks less time-sensitive since the fight is almost over down there.

The Victory Class Destroyers were now in the unfortunate position of taking fire from two sides. The Golan III was a formidable platform, and a Victory had no chance against it in prolonged combat. The series of explosions rocked the ship and left the Inquisitor reeling from the heavy firepower. Meanwhile, TIE Fighters began to clash with N-1s, in yet another continuation of a very long fought battle between the two air forces. Aboard his flagship, Yularen temporarily ignored Venator to address issues. "Lift the communications block and send a message to the surface - order them to prematurely activate the Dioxis and withdraw the last company of troops on the planet." [Among the defensive perimeter around the Padme Amidala.] The Interdictor's complement of N-1s was badly outnumbered by the Imperial TIEs, but fortunately, the TIEs had a lot of other targets. As the Padme Amidala reached full firing range of the Imperial wedge of destroyers, her speed slowed, keeping her in range but not getting too close. Any starfighters willing to attack her directly would have to expose themselves to that open space. The squadron of Naboo starfighters hung back in a defensive posture, protected by the Interdictor's twin Assassin-class corvette escorts. Anyone that got too close to the Interdictor was engaged by the N-1s and by the corvettes, allowing the Padme Amidala to focus on larger targets. Two of the N-1s flashed into gas and dust, but the rest fought on, undeterred.[Aboard the Padme Amidala's bridge.] =Capt. Typho=More ships kept arriving out of hyperspace, and Typho was momentarily very worried, until a scanner tech confirmed the identity of the Umbaran ships. Their allegiance to the GA was not yet known to the Naboo, but they were identifiably not Imperials, and that was the most important thing right now. Every moment a new damage alarm sounded from a different control board somewhere else among the control pits, and the bridge itself shook as explosions washed over the cruiser's hull, but for the moment the shields were holding ... barely. And then the communications block came down, and every communications officer was suddenly overwhelmed.Having received the thumbs-up from the surface, Typho turned his attention to answering his 'guests' in orbit and elsewhere in the galaxy. He walked over to the hologram table and contacted the Padme Amidala.“Starship Padme Amidala, what is going on down there? Can you raise Theed?” Unidentified Nebula-class, this is Captain Cid Typho of the Royal Naboo Security Forces. Thank you for your assistance. To whom do I owe the gratitude? He hesitated, not quite sure how far to trust these strangers. But it wouldn't take a whole lot of effort to discover the current situation in Theed -- it was all over the open civilian channels. We seem to be the victims of a brazen and unexplained assault by the First Order, but I have just received word that they are retreating from the surface. The primary need at the moment is anyone with experience in biohazard containment. There are gas canisters all over Theed and at least some of them contain Dioxis. =Admiral Korr=As soon as the jamming was down, a transmission came through from the Corellian Defense Forces, which had evidently been playing on a loop for some time.Naboo, this is Admiral Jacen Korr on Corellia. I have recieved a distress call from Naboo through the Galactic Alliance channels. Corellia is prepared to dispatch a fleet to aid you. Please confirm your status, or we shall assume the worst. May the Force be with You.=Captain Typho=Typho grinned ever so slightly. The odds, which had originally looked rather bleak, were turning in his favor. He had heard the reports coming through from the surface, and while poison gas was no small thing, it appeared the Imperials had either completed their objective on the surface, or been chased away. An actual invasion would not be wrapping up this quickly.Admiral Korr, this is Captain Typho of the RNSF. Confirmed, we have a situation. There is a large Imperial fleet attacking us, however, they seem to be signalling a possible retreat at the moment, and we have already received aid from the GA. Please stand by until we need you, it couldn't hurt to have a surprise or two in case this gets out of hand. Now it was up to him to make these brazen Imperials pay for their actions, and prevent any sort of cowardly retreat. Many civilians had been injured or killed, and their homes destroyed. The Naboo would not take this violation of their sovereignty sitting down. Typho marched across the bridge to personally check on the gravity well projectors. "Only 64%, eh? Get those things online the moment they're ready." He barked. "We must hold these invaders accountable for their war crimes. We will immobilize them, and if they will not surrender, we will kill them." Yularen then signalled Hoss. "Captain, that interdictor is now our primary problem. We don't have time to rake it with gun fire, you are to intensify your forward deflectors, push your ship to maximum speed and ram it. We will then make our retreat." A terrified Hoss gave a quick" Yes, Sir! " before his second officer jumped to it quickly. The Centurion swiftly turned from its position, where it was firing on the enemy ships as they came around the planet, and targeted the Interdictor especially. The guns trickled to a halt as the shield and the engines were given every spare ounce of power. Meanwhile, the forward compartments of the ship were evacuated, the compartment lock downs put into place and then purposefully depressurised. A Victory class, with its large engines and heavier armour, would cut through an Interdictor like a hot knife through butter. The ship picked up speed, making a straight course down to the Interdictor. The actions and motions of the Centurion quickly became unmistakable as it separated itself from its companions, and its firing slowed to a halt, accelerating toward the Padme Amidala. It would arrive about the same time the gravity well projectors came online. He had to do something, and do it quickly. There was a hum as his shield operators shifted most of their power to the exposed and threatened flank of the ship, but more careful tactics would come from the Captain.=Typho="Helm, take us in close to the Eastern Golan, then cut the engines." The ship's engines shuddered, fighting to move the cruiser to the port side and downward, closer to the planet.Depending on the direction of attack compared to the location of the Golan (and whether they could reach it in time), he might just survive this one."Signal the Golan platform commander, I have a task for his tractor beams..." [Aboard the East-side Golan-III.] =Golan commander="Prepare to split your fire. Keep half on the ISD. Target their weapons systems. Concentrate all remaining turbolaser fire on the engines of that Victory-class!" The station commander barked as he pointed out the Centurion. "Don't let them gain any more speed." Almost immediately, the stations rate and direction of fire shifted, taking some of the heat off the other Victory class destroyers. With the Centurion pointed at the Padme Amidala, they should have a clear shot at a right angle to the Vic, although that angle would eventually close if the enemy changed their course to follow the approaching Interdictor."Power up all of the holoprojectors, and target that incoming Vic, but don't start pullin' on it yet, let him get closer first." [On the surface, at the v-180 Planet Defender assigned to cover the 'East' side of the planet.] The mass confusion that had fallen over the planet side defense forces was subsiding now, and that extended to the orbital planetary defenses. The commander had full control of his men, and the ion cannon was charging. Finding a target among the maze of ships in orbit was proving difficult, but the lifting of the communications block provided some context, and the commander of the emplacement analyzed the tactical readouts before zeroing in on the Centurion. It was accelerating, which would make it harder to hit, but the Interdictor was in immediate danger.=Planet Defender commander="Prepare to target the engines of that Vic as soon as the cannon is charged!"

Rebreathers is a good call because yeah, Naboo don't have a lot of tech.
After this is over, we should upgrade the defense forces a bit to make them more like the canon ones.
